So on our Facebook group there's been a lengthy discussion about 'The Best Second Album Ever'. There's been some obvious one from Radiohead's The Bends, Foo Fighters The Colour And The Shape (1997) to backtracking to the best selling album of all time, Michael Jackson's Thriller (1982), but there's also been some great suggestions which shall now be unveiled to you here...
There does seem to be a mutual agreement that Belle & Sebastian's If You're Feeling Sinister (1996), and The Shins Chutes Too Narrow (2003) are both albums where the bands have realised their full potential and executed it in beautifully uplifting 10-track goodness.
